SPIRIT NIGHT VOLUNTEERS

        NEED: TBD based on event location/time

EVENT MONITORS/ CHAPERONES

​

• CONCERTS- Parents to chaperone orchestras during concerts that are waiting to rehearse on stage and during concert while students are waiting in their assigned sections. Parents will not miss their child’s performance. 

• SOCIAL EVENTS-  Parent chaperones to help supervise orchestra students during social events such as Rock-A-Thon, class parties, Holiday performances, etc.

                          

SOLO & ENSEMBLE HOSPITALITY ROOM
 

Booster Club hosts a hospitality room for the judges and directors. We provide a breakfast, snacks and sometimes lunch.

        NEED: Food/Drink Donations, Hospitality room setup/breakdown volunteers. Shifts for                              volunteering would be on a Friday evening and Saturday
 

FIELD TRIPS/ SPRING TRIP CHAPERONES

• FIELD TRIPS:  Parents chaperones during daytime trips such as Renaissance Festival, Houston Symphony, or other events requiring students being bused.

• SPRING TRIP:  Parent chaperones to travel with the Orchestra and oversee a group of students. Trip are In-State and do not require overnight stays.

                          
         REQUIREMENT: Parents may be asked to ride the buses or drive their personal vehicle to and from event. Parents may also be asked to volunteer their vehicle to aid in transporting instruments to & from events. Some events may require parents to pay their own admittance fee, food, etc. if a pre-paid option was not available ahead of event.
